Our First Excursion

Knife River Campground

An opportunity presented itself, so we went on our first camping trip to Knife River Campground The campground was great. Very clean. We took advantage of the proximity to the lake (Kate referred to it as the ocean) and spent a lot of time on the beach. We had great weather too considering that it was supposed to rain all weekend. I purposely picked this campground because it was 6 miles from Two Harbors and 16 miles from Duluth. In case of rain, we were close to lots of other things to do.

Megan's First Birthday

We had a small birthday party for Meg on 05-24-05. As you can see, she did a nice job with her cake. The big party will be June 4, 2005.

I just added Brett's wedpage link to this site, so be sure to check it out to see what's going on with Brett and family.

Cheryl Townley 1947 - 2001

I was looking at a Duluth radio station website when I happened across a Denfield reunion webpage. I found my mother's yearbook photo. Here is the link if you wish to view class photos and reunion pictures: http://www.denfeld65.com/

Glenda's Resort

Today Glenda is leaving for St. Paul, where she will fly out in the morning to Cozumel. Her brother Jeff and his fiance Kelly are getting married there this week. Glenda is very excited, but also apprehensive to be away from the girls for the week. I'm a little less than viliant about it myself. I'll be alone with the girls for a week for the first time. I wonder if I'll get any sleep. Either way it will be nice, because Glenda will get her much needed vacation, and be able to attend her brother's wedding.

According to weather. com, it is 86º F but it feels like 93º in Cozumel at the moment. You can follow this link to see what the weather is like where Glenda is staying: http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/MXQR0074
